We help prepare documents for the assistance company
Saint Nicholas Medical Center does not sell insurance policies on this page. The clinic helps patients with medical documents, invoice details and information for the assistance company when a policy case is already open or authorization is needed.
Both documents may apply at the same time.
Access through an employer or membership programme
International SOS provides organisations and their travelling employees with medical and security assistance. Membership access should not be confused with a separate travel insurance policy.
If your employer provides the service, prepare the organisation's name and membership details. Contact the designated assistance centre to establish the route for an assessment in Bulgaria. Check who meets the costs and what needs prior agreement. Identifying the programme matters even when the insurance company itself has a different name.
A work trip with membership and personal insurance
Identify the programme arranging assessment to avoid conflicting requests. Human resources helps locate access; payment is clarified with the responsible team. If the employer needs an absence report, ask for the administrative document instead of sending an entire medical archive. For personal leave after business travel, report actual dates and purpose. Do not assume employee access automatically extends to every appointment outside the programme. Identifying the basis separates care organisation, employer reporting and a separate policy’s terms.
An accessible employer contact can help find the programme if the membership reference is unavailable. The clinical assessment still needs your own symptoms and actual needs, not just the purpose of business travel. A work assignment is not a medical recommendation.
Checks for the actual appointment
Employer programme and personal insurance
For a work trip, identify who provided access to assistance. Establish whether the request belongs to an employer programme or personal policy. Agree the medical report recipient and permissions for sharing it. Do not automatically send your complete medical history to the employer. Ask which administrative details are needed to arrange this assessment and complete relevant reporting.
Direct settlement or reimbursement
Ask whether the clinic receives specific payment confirmation or you need to pay first. For personal payment, establish required documents and the submission procedure. Reimbursement depends on the agreement and assessment. Clarify patient contributions and excluded expenses before a planned service. A logo or registered request does not establish the financial terms of this particular appointment.
Exact address and appointment format
Match the facility, address, date and request type. If the message only names Sunny Beach, obtain clarification before setting off. An assessment at a clinic and a visit to your accommodation are different requests. Report a hotel change or revised arrival time so instructions do not remain attached to a place where you are no longer staying.
An appointment at Saint Nicholas
For information about an initial assessment, see medical consultation; confirm appointment availability and agreed visit details through clinic contacts. Confirm schedules and additional services before travelling. The roles of other organisations appear in the assistance directory.
