Assistance case
We help prepare documents for the assistance company
Saint Nicholas Medical Center does not sell insurance policies on this page. The clinic helps patients with medical documents, invoice details and information for the assistance company when a policy case is already open or authorization is needed.
Travel products and international health insurance may follow different procedures.
Allianz Partners and your particular product
Allianz Partners provides travel, insurance and assistance solutions in different markets. A shared group brand does not mean every traveller has the same agreement.
Locate the exact product and issuing company's name on your policy. For a visit in Bulgaria, check the territory, dates and medical assistance contact. If the service comes through a card, employer or holiday package, prepare that programme's documentation. Do not apply terms from another online brochure to your agreement merely because it carries the Allianz name.
One brand, different contractual routes
Identify product and issuing country before using another Allianz page’s instructions. With several cards, show the current request’s document. Establish whether assistance concerns organisation or includes a specific expense confirmation. Another country’s rules are not your agreement’s terms. Retain the handling team’s reply for a review; the group name cannot replace patient, service and financial procedure. This matters for planned investigations, which should not automatically be presented as a new insured incident merely because a card exists.
Mention a separate long-stay agreement when identifying the programme. Do not substitute a travel document merely because cards look similar. For a planned service, ask how its purpose is considered under the selected product and what information is required to confirm this request.
Checks for the actual appointment
- Employer programme and personal insurance
- For a work trip, identify who provided access to assistance. Establish whether the request belongs to an employer programme or personal policy. Agree the medical report recipient and permissions for sharing it. Do not automatically send your complete medical history to the employer. Ask which administrative details are needed to arrange this assessment and complete relevant reporting.
- Policy dates and your actual stay
- Have the document and dates of your stay in Bulgaria ready. Describe when symptoms began and when assessment is needed; do not change facts to fit an insurance period. If the holiday was extended, ask which policy version is valid. An electronic file does not prove cover for every day, service or condition. The case needs accurate circumstances.
- Direct settlement or reimbursement
- Ask whether the clinic receives specific payment confirmation or you need to pay first. For personal payment, establish required documents and the submission procedure. Reimbursement depends on the agreement and assessment. Clarify patient contributions and excluded expenses before a planned service. A logo or registered request does not establish the financial terms of this particular appointment.
